....the river that runs through the 1000 acre parkland surrounding Chatsworth House in Derbyshire - I can just imagine Mr Darcy and Elizabeth walking by the river bank! - I know! I am an old romantic! ;)
Oh this is fantastic. I really wait for such a couple in old fashion clothes walks there. But the sad thing is, that there are always parents or others, who do not want to see them happy. 8-( So now this beautiful image made me sad.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
I am sorry that this weekend I didn't get to comment on all the photos. I took a weekend trip and when I got back there were plenty. Hopefully the photo's I took and am posting will somehow make up for it. Smile

Beautiful shot, Patti...I'm into spring green right now, so this one really fits the bill. Is this the place you took us walking before with the story of the girl who couldn't have the man she loved? I'll have to check back through your gallery...now there's a pleasant thought !! :)
It's hard not to feel romantic upon viewing this landscape. So pretty and poetic. I love the bridge in the background. Very lovely composition and capture, Patti. :)

Hi Patti, this is one of my (many) favourites of yours! I love the way the tree leans into the picture, with the water in the middle. Lovely shades of green too!
Another amazing shot! I love the tree in this one, and the bridge in the background! After seeing all of your stunning country images, i've decided that i must add Derbyshire to my list of places i have to visit! Thank you for sharing yet another beautiful shot!
