......I can just hear Darcy suggesting this to Elizabeth (Pride & Prejudice). ....and I mean together, not like in - clear off will you! lol! where is the romanticism? - is that a word or did I make it up?! Photograph taken through an opening in the gate looking into the grounds of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.

Even with My Darcy's pride and Miss Elizabeth's prejudice I think they would have enjoyed a walk along this splendid path.So long as the nasty George was out of the way.
Great shot Patti, what a lovely place to visit. I like the way the gateway/archway (?) frames the picture.

Great view Patti. The eye leads right down where they're walking. What a beautiful sight with lush greenery and blue skies. Very inviting. Thanks for sharing this Patti.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

A loverly picture...I didn't see the movie or read the book. The only Elizabeth I know of is the Queen and she won't walk with just anybody...you can't even hug her...stuffy or what?

I am sorry that this weekend I didn't get to comment on all the photos. I took a weekend trip and when I got back there were plenty. Hopefully the photo's I took and am posting will somehow make up for it. Smile Steve

Well, I'm sure whoever took a stroll down this path is long gone by now, but I did want to let you know how much I enjoyed the whole experience.

Maybe I'm wrong, Patti, but it seems you got a magenta dominant on the road. Just a little PS edit could fix it.
Thanks to show us your beautiful country :-)
