........and in the very same spot that I took this photograph, I returned on my last evening in the Lake District to capture the end of the day. I had been to a local hostelry called The Outgate for my evening meal and decided to continue on the road and drive to Tarn Hows as the sky was a wonderful colour and the sun was setting. Hope you like this one! I suspect some people will see it too dark, but as resolutions are different on so many pc's this cannot be helped, sooooo just turn up the resolution! hmmmm :)

I think it looks fine Patti, sets the mood for the piece. I can make out the fence or gate and it seems to glow in the setting sun.

The sky is absolutely amazing. Seems a lot of people here like the dark foreground and I see it's value too but I think I would like it more if you cropped out some of the darkness. Still into my favorites.
