.....another photograph from last Sunday when I visited Dunham Massey. This building is what was originally the Stables to the mansion. The upper floor is now a restaurant/cafe and I always make a point of visiting there before I leave - scrumptious cake and delicious black coffee ...mmmmmmmmmm!

What a fantastic shot this is my friend. The detail and clarity are spot on Patti. Heck a stables looks like a place one would like to live in. :)

It looks as though the Duck in the foreground is trying to dodge the on coming Duck. Go back, let's see what happens.
Oh, Sorry, got carried away with the Duck Scene.
Stables you say. My My, someone had too much Money.
Fine Architecture and Grounds.
Thanks for showing and sharing Patti.

The building is very nice, the colors are very nice...but dinner is getting away. Quick...grab the duck before it flies off.

I'm not supposed to comment on ducks but it looks to me like they are out on manuevers. Love the building ands hope they don't serve rump of horse at restaurant. I take my coffee black as well. Nice photo and composition Patti.

I like your fascination with this place, and the way you've improvised the composition in the shot - the V of the duck on the water adds a lot. I expect you needed the black coffee after the hip flask had been pressed into service eh?

Great sharp image Patti, I like the duck on the water, leaving it's trail behind, fits well in the picture.

your shots always look so "english", i dunno quite how you do that, if its the colouring somehow you use, but anyway, this looks a great place to go too, especially if it has cake! |:-)
