.......the end of the day at the fishing port of Essaouira and the birds come to feast. I don't think I have ever seen so many seagulls flying overhead ...and one of them had the indignity to crap on my camera flash grrrrr - one more inch and it would have landed on my nose! lol!

Very Hitchcockian, Patti... almost makes me shudder at the thought of all those birds crashing through my screen. I'm very glad you didn't get directly bombed!

Striking capture with an excellent sky and strong silhouettes. You've made a wonderful composition of this image. Nice work!

I had thought of the movie "The Birds" when I first saw this one. Good action shot and thank goodness it was the flash that got it! Lol! =^..^= sandi ♪

Great atmosphere. The silhouetted birds have been captured perfectly. Read something today in a photo magazine about capturing a group of birds in flight. It is desirable to have all the wings outspread. hard to do.But guess what, you did it here. nice.

My first thought was the same as Anne-Marie's .
That was bad luck - the bird must have had a good aim.

Marvellous silhouettes in this - I love it.

How rude of the gull. Oh well, it will wash. lol. Nice silhouetted photo of the birds and the structures. The water scene in the rear is really good. I really like the coloring.
