This was taken a week back out at Nature Preserve. I thought it was indicative of changing colors in to yellow to red.

very pretty Gerry! YOu caught the sun perfectly shining on the golden leaves! I noticed how much more gold the trees are looking in the UK this week - so hopefully I will get some good photographs at weekend, just as long as we get some sunshine too! :) Patti

This looks for all the world to me to be a maple. Now, isn't it enough that you have all those amazingly spectacular you Have to steal our thunder by pillaging our maples too?'re right. This epitomizes the essence of the changing of the colors in the autumn. I love your presentation and compostion as well as the lighting and clarity :)PJ

This is so bright and cheerful even though we know those leaves will soon drift to the ground. Super capture, Gerry!

I love that the background has all the same colors as the foreground, just shadowed and perfectly out of focus. Contrast is awesome. :)
