Last shot of this old monastery I will see if I can get a better shot in September, but will not keep my fingers crossed. No the sky is not real I had to crate it as the sky was white in the original shot.Love this place I just wished I could do it justice.

Good capture of this very interesting architecture. Good postwork on the sky. Very good angle of light.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I just added a little contrast to it Giz and I thought it looked better. All of us like a photo with just a little different treatment so it is difficult to judge how it should be. All I can say is how I like it. I love this place and will look forward to your going back in September.
You have not disappointed us with this one.

So are we waiting until September to storm the castle now? There might be some grumbling from the men (and women). Some of them might not be able to get time off work.
I like the lighting in this photo, Roger. Good textures, colours and nice details in the photo. I would love to explore and photograph the place myself.

Love this place also! I hate white skies also, always I turn into blue with photoshop! Stunning, beautiful and fantastic capture, Roger, great work!

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

Hello Roger,

I just studied this image full size and it is remarkably beautiful!
I hope I can ever visit the place too, for it looks an extremely pleasant and interesting monastery.
Thank you friend, I like this photo very much!

An amazing structure. I can see why you are drawn to it. Fantastic view up to it. I can imagine the difficulty getting it all in. I hope you do go back in September. I want to go! lol
