Co. Clare, Ireland, September, 2016--When I shot this the wind was howling at a sustained clip that made it extremely difficult to stand up in. I am surprised I was able to get it, really. There is no way I would go out there the people across the way are--with no fences to keep from getting blown off. These cliffs were used for a scene in one of the Harry Potter movies, and of course, they were very impressive in the movie The Princess Bride.

This sure is one impressive image, excellent! I think you made the right choice too, I would not venture out there either in such conditions. tigs=^..^=

I guess walking the cliff trails would depend on whether the wind was blowing out to sea or inward. With the light HDR you used here I'm thinking your image is every bit as impressive as their appearance in the movies.

well...im not one for heights but to get the shoot?...i would have to take one for the team. my father has express the fact with his five sons that stupidity runs in the family, im not sure what he meant. as always a great shot of a beautiful sight Ted, glad to see it wasnt your last! good call on the apprehension.

We once took a photo here that captured a greenish fog , same spot. It is a hairy walk. Fine photo.
