Several weeks ago I posted this shot showing one of the book vending booths that cling to the Seine. There's several dozen of them on either side and you can find a plethora of interesting stuff, such as vinyl LPs from the 50s & 60s, antique magazines from the same era, including Life magazine, old books, and other memorabilia, some associated with famous people. Like Steve McQueen's license to drive a fast machine. It's well known he raced at Le Mans, but this seems to indicate that he did some motorcycle stuff in France as well. It even shows his home address. Paris, France; September 2013.

What a well spotted take! Very neat find, and he was fond of speed. Very cool that it even shows his address, I wonder if it has changed over the years since he lived there. tigs=^..^=

Now THAT'S gotta be worth some green. Good catch, Ted, and yes, Sandi, McQueen died at age 50, in November of 1980 (just a month before John Lennon, at age 40), of cardiac arrest while he was undergoing surgery to remove metastatic tumors in his neck and abdomen. Too bad for both of them, with so much more to offer.
