"Happy Friday Everyone"

Sorry I haven't been around much, been very busy around here and getting ready to travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado to work at a skating competition and spending a few days after to enjoy the beautiful area. Hope to get some good pictures.

Captured this beautiful Red Trillium back in May 2017 which grows in my neighbours backyard. Only cropped it and brought out more detail. If you click on the link you can see it has many different names.

Comments most appreciated.

Have a great day, ♥ Skates

Thank you for your patience & friendship.

Trillium is one of my favorite flowers. Unfortunately they don't grow out on the plains.

What a beauty ! Such a deep red. You have prsented it perfectly.

I was given a trillium for my birthday last month - it has just one flower open so far and 3 more to come. It is white and not so spectacular is this. It is also unusual in that it has upright flowers whereas most trilliums droop gracefully. I should get a photo of it :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
