Good afternoon everyone, took this picture of Mr. Robert Cat (our frequent visitor Bobcat) this morning while having my coffee.

I spotted him sleeping in the snow, then I decide to go outside to get a few pictures and he woke up and really kept his eyes on me. I was within 15.25m/50ft from where he was.

In this image he was ready to take off in a full run away from me, he got tired of me getting too close and clicking away. Boy when he did take off up the hill he was so fast I could not get any clear shots of him.

Thank You In Advance for your Comments & your time.

Have a Marvelous Day, ♥ Skates

PS: Might post another one of this magnificent kitty kitty, meow

He looks so much like a regular cat in this shot Skates. You are lucky to have him around.
A great shot that I would have been too excited to take.

I agree with Sandi - he does not look happy to see you and the camera - a great capture none the less.

He is a cat in the wild and you are fortunate to get that close to get a good capture...which you indeed did..., Pat. I probably wouldn't get so close. The creatures that venture in where I am I rather they stay in the woods...coyote, etc.

Excellent capture, reminds me of when we lived in NH and we had them in the forest behind our home. You were really lucky to have spotted him, a pure joy for us to view.

Pat, in your PS you mentioned Mr. Robert Cat a 'magnificent kitty'.
After viewing your very good 'action shot' (although he may have been sleepy because of his recent nap, 😜 ) at full screen size, I agree with you for more than 100%.
Simply a terrific shot, my friend!
