Boy our backyard was very busy this morning with visitors coming and going while having our coffee.

"Meet Mr Weasel", he sure is a gorgeous fellow & made an appearance in our back yard this morning. The Weasel is very secretive and is very fast moving. They turn white in the winter like the Jack Rabbits, but if you look closely he is changing to his summer colouring. The tip of their tails always stays black all year round.

We've seen him a few of times in the last couple of years. Mostly in the summer and is very hard to spot because blends in with the surrounding.

Yes as you see we still have snow but it is melting or evaporating. We even have some ground showing on the down slop of the hill.

Hope All Is Well, ♥ ♥ Skates ♥ ♥

The many visitors know a kind heart and thus the frequent trips to Patland. Hope you never run out of treats for them nor names to assign to their many happy back yard faces.

Pat, in my country we have the saying: "Zo bang als een wezel." (Afraid like a weasel). This saying may be an indication of its careful and or stealthy way of operating. Indicates too that a weasel isn't often can be seen.
Think therefore that your wonderful image can be categorized as a rare one.
Perfectly done!

Take care, stay safe and healthy in these difficult times!

A very good shot of this usual and very elusive animal. He/She seems to enjoy the winter weather!
