Took this image of Mr. Blue Jay on 2020, 04-02 (Thursday AM). Mr. Blue Jay was just standing right at our front door. My husband called me and got this through our glass door kneeling down on 2 ft away.

We both though he was injured because he didn't move when I was so close on the other side of the glass. So I got my coat on to go out and rescue him, but as I opened the door he flew away, thanks goodness he was OK.

Will try and play check up on commenting.

I am glad Mr. Blue Jay did not any rescuing.

Though I may be a Yankee fan (and I suspect Tick supports some kind of red bird), I can understand the people of Toronto loving their beautiful blue jay. I wonder if Mr. Blue Jay is old enough to remember the Jays in the World Series of 1992 and again,in 1993. Bet the fans in Atlanta and Philadelphia probably do. Pat stay safe and healthy! ~~ John

Sure glad you captured this inspiring photo, it is excellent, we are able to see up close the beauty of this bird. I just noticed Sandi's comment that appears at the bottom of her page. Wow... Pat, I can't exclude that Mr. Blue Jay has noticed the worried situation because of this Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic, and therefore did some close inspections to check wether both Jack and you are still in a good medical condition, 😁
Not a matter of course in these difficult times.
