As you see Little Jack seems to trust me, he's closing his eyes. The way I can tell who is who is: Little Jack has white streaks on his hind legs above his back foot on both sides. To see his white streak on this back leg better: Click Here This morning he went flying by as if something was chasing him.
He has lost most of his winter coat or as Cornelius says, he got into the barber before they close, lol.
Oh, I have to tell you we do not have to only worry about Bears we had a Cougar / Mountain Lion in our neighbours backyard. They are big kitties you don't want to mess with.

Pat, they can reach a high speed so that it seems that they can even fly without wings, 😜 .
By reading your narrative (about the Mountain Lion kitties), it seems that your area is a favorite for certain animals. I hope they don't give other animals the idea of establishing / founding a zoo there however.
Anyhow a fine and cute and well taken shot of Mr. Little Jack, my friend!
