I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Everyone has commented on the excellent clarity and composition of this and I concur with them all.. Who could resist that glowing gold in the middle of the flower and the stunning white of the petals. Another particularly interesting element of this photo to me is the background. One expects to see a lily resting on water, and suppose that's what is behind it, but the green doesn't look like water, and it doesn't look like leaves either...it's more of a texture than a representation of something real and it works very nicely. The other thing I wanted to comment on was the leaves in the foreground. Although they look real, they don't seem to be greenery that I've ever associated with waterlilies before. It all pulls together for the stunning presentation that is now sitting in my faves, awaiting its turn on my desk top...I love it... ;)PJ
CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.
This flower looks so delicate and fragile...and so pretty! Excellent angle used here, and as always, your clarity and color are fabulous! Wonderfully done!

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
