this state park in south carolina is a fine place to visit. it has a wonderful lighthouse. it has an ancient decaying forest (on the beach). it seems to give off a tint of pink much of the day. i'd recommend it as a site to see. enjoy! thanks in advance for any comments.

So fine, Jen! What a lovely spot and the trees in silhouette appear to be heeding the call of the sea. What pretty colors in that pearlescent sky. Such a beautiful shot.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Very nice Jen. Looks like the perfect place to take a stroll. The colors are so soft. The stumps and dead tree really add some flavor to an already outstanding photo. Good work.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film.

I think it should be "Haunting" Island. Beautiful but just a bit creepy with the dead trees and stumps. Very compelling image.
