we walked the path along the little colorado and came upon this dead tree. i liked the angle of the tree pointing to a very dark sky. shortly after this was taken there was a hail storm.....with really huge hail. we watched a 4 year old catch 4 trout. nature at its best. enjoy! thanks in advance for any comments.

Jen, this is really a fabulous capture. The colours are striking & love the line the tree is creating and pointing on up stream & the tree looks like it's coming out of the screen. Great presenation and clarity - A BIG BRAVO

Did that tree fall on its own, or did you help it along for the sake of the picture? LOL. Very nice, Jen. I love all the greens. Excellent nature picture.

It looks like several trees have fallen across the stream Jen. Must have been a bad storm there at some time. Good looking photo. You do such nice work.

That is a right nice capture. I like the angle of that tree also. It is pointing the way to the pretty stream that leads far back into the image. Good eye.

Nice work on the colours here Jen, look at that clear blue sky! Hard to believe there was a hail storm, where did the clouds come from.....Nice comp on this and it sounds like a memento of a lovely day.

Lot of trees down here. That path looks well worn too. Lots of nice colors in this, Jen. Lots of lines to lead us about the image.

You always seem to find tree branches to put into the foreground of your river and sea shots Jen! They make an excellent foreground leading your eye to the beautiful scenery beyond.

Jen, the comment of Jimbob did me really smile because several trees are fallen. Think it wasn't an easy job, lol.
Great capture of real nature!

I've got a shot on Mt St Helens to upload soon that has a very similar looking tree pointing its upturned roots at the mountain. I think the view here is much more verdant than the one I've got, but you'll recognize the composition. I'm proud to know that you and I have similar tastes!
