lichens are fungi which grow on many things. here they are growing on the rocks at calgary bay, isle of mull (scotland). i had just uploaded this one but received a note from a friend that my horizon was crooked. here it is again with, i hope, a straighter one. thanks for any comments. ENJOY!

I generally mix them with tonic water rather than just on the rocks Jen. I never thought I would envy lichen, but after looking at this scene, I do. Great post.

This is better than the current 60. I think it makes a great desktop. Those rocks in the foreground really nadds realism and depth to the image.
