I am enjoying going out in the evening to attempt to slow the water. Unfortunately tonight there were no waves. Oh well! Enjoy!

Try as we might, Jen, the waves don't listen to us; they work with a higher power. You got some silky water along the shoreline with your timed exposure.
If I may offer a suggestion - the branch in the upper right corner is an integral part of the scene, but is cropped too much; perhaps a wider angle of view would include more of it to balance the depth of the scene.

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine The Earth without art is just 'eh'.
There's still some nice milkiness going on there, particularly over that center foreground rock. Very nice with dramatic lighting.
