This is one from my archives. It was taken in the parking lot of Devils Tower, WY. Everyone else was taking pics. of the tower & I was trying to get a good shot of this cool old truck! LOL It's a mid- 50's (57 possibly?) Chevy pickup. Really liked the colors, & I've always loved the looks of these! Not a capture I expect to get high marks on, just one I wanted to share with my friends! Thanks everybody!!

They really did a great restoration job with this Dan. I love the paint job on it.We still have a few of these on the highways where I live too. It was King of the road in its day and a great reminder of simpler times.Glad you shared with us.

Dan, this is great! Someone did a nice paint job, too. I see these around here all the time, going about 20 mph in a 40 and they're usually rusty! This will go on my desktop with a smile! - Patty

I have always wanted an old truck like that to go tooling around my little town on a Sunday afternoon. What? Why thank you. I'll be anxiously awaiting it's arrival. So nice of you to offer. great post.

A beautiful restoration job on this old Chevy truck. I like the color too. They sure don't make them like they used to. Where I live they have a classic car & truck show every summer ... always a fun time watching them cruise down main street. I can't image all the hours that went into restoring one. A fantastic shot Dan & thank you for sharing.

Mellow yellow! My son had a yellow car and the police always pulled him over. Maybe it wasn't the color of the car, but I tend to think red and yellow cars are eye catching and this truck certainly was. Nice old truck.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva
