(Subtitled: Get Up on Your High Horse) It would take a lot of trust between rider and horse to be able to do this. Can you imagine what would happen to the rider if the horse decided to bolt while he was up there? (Dont try this at home! LOL) Thanks everyone for your views & comments!

A fantastic shot Dan ... you are right it takes alot of skill & also trust between rider & horse. I have trouble just sitting in a saddle, so I won't be trying this stunt. LOL. Great job here ... this is really fun.

I have to say he looks a bit worried in case that happens Dan! He would probably do a backward flip! lol! Great capture! Really enjoying your photos from this rodeo show (if that is the correct name - me being an ignorant English woman, would not know any different) ;) Patti

That arena sure looks muddy. He better hope his horse stands still. I'll take those six shooters.

I noticed the pistol shaped shanks on the horse's bit. What a thing to notice with all of that ropin' action going on! I'm amazed at how still the horse appears to be standing... it would be nice if you said that, just after you took the photograph, the pony took off and left rope-trick-man sitting in the mud. Heheh. Great capture Dan!

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~

:O? Holy shmoly! i mean i'm bad at lasso-ing but does HE have to rub it in MY face?

Anyway, Great capture mate. And yes i can imagine what would happen, it would go cartoon style, he'd lasso himself and the horse would be a hero! Lol :P
