These two little leaves are still hanging tough against the cold and wind of South Dakota. I thought their fall colors were great; hope you do too!

Nice bit of Photography Dan ... A uncomplicated subject ... and you've composed this nicely with pinpoint focus. The overall soft colors combined in that blurred background make for a super image. Not bad from our "Dakota Cowpoke"... Not bad at all. :o) Great Post.

They are tough, but they look so delicate at the same time. Especially the smaller one. Is it frozen in place? Very nice!

You're right, the colors are so pretty, mauve, green and tan. Maybe they'll still be there in the spring. I hope you go back and check. Lol.

It's interesting how the leaves in the background are also that pastel color*taps head* hmmm..okay...confession time..you went out there with leftover food coloring from the frosting for the Christmas cookies and flung it around, just for something to post...right? lol...nice find :)PJ
