I think one loves the snow, the other one not. I do not like snow, you know, but I think, it looks good in this pic together with those beauties. Very nice image with great shadows.

Such lovely rust colors in their hair. I recognize the one on the left, but the one on the right is new to me. I like the blue shadows they cast on the well trampled snow also. Nice pic, Dan. Gotta love horses. I certainly do.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

It really does look as if they're ignoring each other Dan- unless the one on the right is trying to warm up his backside in the sun LOL. And it does look as if the paint is about to kick the other in the behind as wheedance commented. Just waiting on you to turn your head LOL. What a couple of beauties.
My take is that they are still friends but are both looking at something different. We don't have to always be side by side to be getting along do we? They are both beautiful animals and regardless they will be probably side by side or next to each other before the day ends.
