From an old "junk" folder. I had previously posted one of this old pioneers cemetary which had been long forgotten and neglected until recently. A couple of the old tombstones (or what's left of them) are shown here. I gave it a sepia finish and spotlight type border. For a look at my previous shot and the history of it, use this link! What you have done with the image, gives it the feeling of a very hot dessert (if you do not notice the snow - smile). Very different to the cold shot last time, but still very interesting.

When you first posted the photo you linked us to I commented on it at the time and enjoyed the message it sent, but to tell you the truth, I think this tells the story even better than the original one. I like the effect you used, my friend, and I wouldn't change it, if it were mine.

I can sense the loneliness of the prairie from your post. The lightened background adds a feeling of warmth to the scene and it might seem like the desert sun, but for the snow on the ground. Nice effects, Dan.
