Essex, Connecticut, USA. While walking in the Bushy Hill Nature Preserve, these mighty falls were found in the Falls River beneath a canopy of trees. The amazing height of this water fall is five inches! Enjoy!

Thanks for giving us the scale, Thad. I originally thought it might be 100ft. Really glorious green colours and great detail on the water.

Really nice Thad. Excellent color and detail. I am trying to figure out if you used a filter on the water on the fall to get that different look...the high contrast white part, I mean.

Thad....You've taken a 5" waterfall and turned into a work of art. I love the greens throughout the composition and the creamy richness of such a little waterfall. Excellent detail work showing the textures of the rocks. I can almost feel the serenity of being there.

See how deceiving photography can be, Thad. I guessed the height at about 3 feet until I read your description. Very nice image.

As long as you can get up, it doesn't mater how far you fall Thad. A great shot and I like your exposure on the water falls.
