Cromwell, Connecticut, USA. A clematis bloom in the last light of day, perhaps with a bit of July 4th fireworks in the stamens. Enjoy your Foofy Friday!

Looks like frosting has been added to this beauty Thad. My clematis have given up for the summer. Good composition.

Great carity and detail Thad and the stamens do look as though they are exploding and cascading like fireworks.
The deep colour is gorgeous.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is lovely - it looks so cool which is a plus in these temps - our clematis around here have all given up due to the heat and drought this year. Saved for my DT.
