Jamestown, Virginia, USA. Jamestown Settlement, a recreated site a short distance form the original location (Historic Jamestowne), was developed in 1957, to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the settlement founding. Depicting the settlement in 1614, seven years after the founding, it offers a number of interactive and hands-on activities, especially enjoyed by school groups. I enjoyed visiting the archeology site more, and thought some liberties were take-in the interpretations at this site; however, it offered some good photography opportunities. This is the view of the fort from outside the fort wall.

I'm trying to absorb all the time spent drilling and pegging those palisade stakes. Has to be seen full size to truly appreciate the scene. Excellent capture, Thad.
