Why does the picture come out square when the lens is round??? 8~O

This pic is so focused on the berries that it is a delight to see. Sometimes there are images that incorporate many other things to compliment the subject, and I like those, but there are times when I'm in the mood for viewing the poignancy of a subject as it stands alone...this is one of those times :)PJ

Brilliant. It's nice how light reflects from the berries. I've got obsessed with dark images and maybe that's why I feel like there could be more really dark or pure black in this one.
