I get mine at the grocery store. I'd be too afraid of picking a bad mushroom, but this one is a little beauty growing up with the soil on her head. You left her there? Nicely captured her.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

love reading everybodies culinary choices! now first of all - you sure it is a mushroom and not a toadstool and that it isn't poisonous - I wouldn't want half of Caedes going down with food poisioning!! lol! and...... if it is a mushroom, then I would like it cooked with cream and on toast! I know we English have strange habits! ;) ps doesn't Rob have expensive taste! ;)

Not sure I'd eat this one - it looks suspiciously like a Death Cap to me [don't know if you get that one in the States though]. If edible though, sliced, sauted in cream and sauvignon blanc then sprinkled on top of Welsh Rarebit on toast - yummee!
Oh - comments - yes... very sharp capture, love the contrasting dark 'woodsy' background and nice positioning.
Cheers,
Steve.
