Waiting for a nice big Sea Bass to hit my line. Photographed in Sardinia, Italy in early May 2015. Yes, that is the true color of the Mediterranean Sea. As always, thank you for looking and leaving a comment.

Oh I love a good sea bass or maybe a branzino - I like mine simply with a little olive oil, lemon and capers! What time is dinner? LOL Excellent capture Doug - wonderful textures as well as color.

You can't sit even for a minute on those rocks Doug. The sea looks great and yo got good focus on the pole.

AMAZING!!.. You really need to see this in the full version, never would have thought it could be so dramatic and beautiful. Simple but powerful. Details and composition excel.

Doug, where are you my friend, or is it a remote controlled fishing rod? (lol)

The atmosphere in your capture/pano is great! The composition is spot on as well. Perfectly done!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

And somewhere past the rocks, a shark is heard faintly saying "nom, nom, nom." And the fisherman's friends are saying, "Why don't he write?"

Very nicely composed image and a wonderful capture of scene, Doug. there's a place not to far from home where people fish for sea bass. Lovely colours and details in the photo.
