Yes, this is the Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH and this is just one of the many porches that surround this amazing old lady. :)PJ

Matvelous perspective. Good DOF too. Focus is crystal clear. I could sit down in a rocker on this porch and never get up. I like the flower boxes. The sun is just right to produce pleasant shadows. Nice post.

A respectable establishment indeed. I agree with all the above, especially how the shadows play with the porch amenities.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

What a great perspective from this end P.J. I love the white, clear and crisp look of the whole porch and the wonderful flowers everywhere. You've captured it just perfectly and it's def a keeper. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty.

What an excellent picture. Once again I find myself transported back to a time when the bowler hat and wax mastache was in vogue. Thanks for sharing

I love ond porcheson homes. The way they build houses now there is no room for a porch of such proportions. Lovely image.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

This is such a pleasant image PJ......the colors, once again ,are so clear and go so well together, it just gives the overall composition a real "put together" look! Thanks for sharing this huge porch with us. The only thing wrong is I wish it were on my house!! lol :~)

Hello PJ....This is a beautiful sharp picture....You have used the light to create shadow and the shadows in return have enhanced the appearance of the subject. The interaction of the two is fascinating.....Well done...All the best...Mick.

Great pic. Technically probably not pushing you to the limits, but the parallax perspective caused by a number of edges/lines is strong, the flower arrangements look good and it somehow makes me feel like I could spend a pleasant afternoon sat there watching the world go past.. therefore a worthwhile composition - job well done.
