I tried to lighten up the shadow on this rock. I'm not sure how successful an attempt it will be after it goes through the compression phase of uploading, but one more time let's reminisce.

The rocks look fine Pat. In fact the whole image looks fine to me. Love the patches of sunlight on yonder shore.

I DO notice a slight difference. I think the original was just fine, but you must be a lot like me. Monkey around with things till you get it just right. Good work on both pictures, PJ.

There is a slight difference visible... I think it looks better, although the first image was by no means 'bad'; in fact it was breathtakingly beautiful, just like this one. The sky's my favorite part.

The change was so subtle it's hard for me to detect. That's probably why my photo's aren't up to this standard. I haven't changed my mind, the first post was great and this post is great. It gives me another chance to sit and reminisce. Thanks for that PJ

You don't make it easy for this senior ... do you ? Just came from "Reminisce" ... been bouncing back and forth till the PC started to get rather HOT! Both images are excellent and I'm not going to go out on a limb and choose one over the other. But it's obvious on my screen the rock shadow came through very much lighter. Pssst ... how did you do that ?
