You can certainly tell I was in Maine when you look at all the rocks on this beach. And this is where it's been cleared! The last of the October sky was painting the water and sand a deep blue, and I loved how the sun was playing off the rocks. Just a simple beach shot, but part of a day that I hated to see it go, and regret its passing from that last moment In Time on.

:)PJ

Number 4 in my series and I might have one more, but it's still bubbling in the brain...waiting for the jury of one (me) to come in with a verdict.

Well if this is any example of what is in the wings, I hope your jury of one decides to share. The blues in this are so good and the rocks add so much to the composition. It looks like you could walk forever.

What say we get our feet wet? Great post Peej.

Amazing blues. I know what you mean about Maine beaches being so rocky. This one looks so wonderful in the setting sun and the low tide. Don't hold out with the last one on us. Now you mentioned it, we have to see it, especially if it's as beautiful as this.

Ohhhhhhhh I like this very very much. That blooooooo colour is just awesome. But most of all I love how the water is just gently flowing in...making those wonderful patterns. Were you laying in the water?? I really like how you've gotten the water just kind of hugging those rocks. Very nicely composed.Verena

That's a very cool effect, the blue is so rich it's almost thick and syrupy. Is that a word? The proportions are maybe a touch uncomfortable - there's just a sliver of sky - but the swirls and patterns in the sand and water are lovely.
