Finally...Finally Spring arrives in the North Country. The rain took the snow away and underneath, after a sunny day, this lovely appeared on my lawn. I just reveled in the ray of sun that shone on her and I thought I'd share it with all of you.
I KNOW it's a run-of-the-mill pic, but spring always leaves me breathless.

This is so very precious and the colour of course is so perfect. I do have to admit IMHO that the background doesn't do this photo justice. I know that's what was there, but this flower "deserves" something more beautiful as a BG. Maybe there is a way you could "touch it up" in one of your programs? Or even if you just black that BG out? Just a thought. Verena

Love this image as it reflects to me the force of nature. Last winter when everything was covered with ice and snow, I thought: 'How is it possible that in spring the soil will be covered again with new life?'

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Nothing run of the mill about this crocus, girl! That one really stands out in such beautiful shades of purple and the golden center is an eye catcher. DOF is perfect and the focus is controlled and right on! (I'm with Jimbob here).
