Yes, the eye knows all. Although a rhino has really poor eye sight and nasty temper. I thought it would make an interesting photo. Hope you think so to.

Good capture showing all the skin textures. I read somewhere that animals like rhinos and elephants have practically no enemies (except mankind) and so they have no need to have sharp eyesight to protect themselves from other animals and that this may be the reason for the poor eyesight.

Between the rhino and the elephant, I don't know which has skin resembling the surface of the moon more. Looking at your photo I hold my fingertip over the eye and the whole image takes on a very surreal character. Excellent shot and much more effective as a close crop like this rather than showing the outside edges of the animal's head.
