How thoughtful to prepare a shelter for the shipwrecked stranger. Don't suppose they provided some form of communication to escape their predicament. Fascinating picture.

I'd be willing to bet the device on the roof is an electrical generator, utilizing the unobstructed wind off the ocean. I usually don't recommend centering the subject but, in the case of this one on a wide-open beach, it works very well. Placing the horizon line in the middle, combined with the centered shack, creates a subtle crosshair of the whole photo, like looking through the scope of a high-powered rifle. The contrast could be a little stronger and the color balance could be shifted a little to yellow from blue, but otherwise, Robert, you did very well and I'm confused by the general membership ignoring your image and not leaving many comments. Then again, I'm confused much of the time as it is. 8P

An interesting find and nice presentation of the photo. A levels adjustment could be made to darken the lighting and add more contrast to the scene.
