Makes me think of the old photos of what they called "The Knot Hole Gang," outside early baseball parks Robs. It appears this football game has fallen through the cracks. If you didn't know better, one would think they were relieving themselves "so to speak."
Good coloring as always and a wonderful glimpse into early Americana.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

I'd say they have the cheap seats. Nice old capture.

Rob, funny on the one hand, but also poignant on the other, because these people apparently (with respect to the financially aspects) couldn't afford an admission ticket to be a spectator at this football game. For this reason only, an overdone coloring of the original photo wouldn't be appropriate. You've felt this excellent. Compliments for your empathy!

Well, this is priceless, very original and interesting capture, and your light touch with the colors and shades in every part of this scene is simply perfect.
