I am pretty sure you were not around in 1937, and yet, your coloring of this scene is as if you were there. Really like the angle of this capture, makes it even more interesting to view.

Rob, I join Vicki's comment above when it comes to your way of colorization. Very natural/realistic and not overdone.
It seems that such a job can easily be done, but the attempts of other friends in that direction proofs to me that it's a pretty hectic job which only can be done when one has the required skills.
Perfectly done again, 👍 !

It must be viewed full screen to appreciate the wonderful work you did on the girl on the bench Rob. You brought her out of the shadows and made her an important part of the scene.
The white robe looking dress of the older lady seems to be a beacon of hope for the young girl.
Wonderful colorization once again.

Beautifully and sympathetically done Rob.
I do hope this lady was happier then she looks. She looks so pensive

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Great job, Rob. Life in those times could have been hard work for many folks. My Dad was a cotton farmer. We spent many days in the fields.
