She seems to be very engrossed with the story line. What I noticed right off was the full trash can, waiting to be emptied. Once again you did a superb job on this one. tigs=^..^=

The lampshades are crooked and like Tigz said, the trash can is full, so I think this lady spends more time listening to the radio than cleaning. She might have been listening to Mystery Broadcast, Stella Dallas (soap opera) or even Ole Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) himself. Super job of colorization--and like the sign says in her apartment, just the right amount of dabs of color.

Rob, I remember very well when my parents got their first radio. As a little boy (born in 1945) this was an impressive experience for me. I thought there were little people inside the radio and when the opportunity came, I sneaked to the back of the radio to see if I could see them. I only saw some light (due to the radio tubes, 😁).
When I see this photograph, this memory comes up again. I imagine this young lady was mesmerized by what she was hearing.
Your colorization of this photograp is again of great class. Very well chosen and done. It enhances the authenticity of this photograph, 👍 !

Love it,Rob. My Mother would get really engrossed in her books, she loved old western novels. This lady reminds me of her. I wasn't around when people listened to the radio instead of television ( howbeit old black and white cathode tube television) for entertainment.
