this is one of three images I got with my tripod of the "festival of lights" at Heritage Plantation Museum and Park in Sandwich, Massachusetts (Cape Cod)... before a security guard accosted me, saying I couldn't use a tripod... go figure... anyway, I got three good ones!

What's up with the guard? Saying you couldn't use a tripod, is he an authority on how to use one or what? Just joking. Looks like you did fine job. I love the colors and the dark backdrop. Very festive. Happy New Year Mary.

Gosh and just in time before the holiday season ends. What a great shot, and I think that the guard was probably jealous of your equipment!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR !! :)PJ

The guard was what is known in Britain as a 'Jobsworth'. That's because 'it is more than his job is worth' to either let you break the rules, no matter how stupid they are, or take the initiative himself. Great shot by the way!!

Thank you, Braces, for the definition of a 'Jobsworth.' There must be an American version of this? Be that as it may, Mary, this is a sensational shot. The train seems like an FAO Schwartz constellation of stars in the night sky.
