Hello Mary...this is such a perfect birdie photo! I love the clearly defined feathers, the colours, and that little perch he's(she) is on, that colour just sets off the whole feeling.It feels as tho the Sparrow is right here with me. Thought it was going to be of Owd Bob with his trousers rolled up! LOL! Great shot of this little beauty. sparrows were once one of Britain's most common birds but they are becoming much rarer in large areas of the country.
