Safe for the humans or the dolphins? I think the sign should be a yellow rectangle and read "Dolphin Crossing." So that's a young one out front, eh? Dolphins are one of the coolest mammals on the planet, even more so than us, and this is a good capture; I had no idea they came into inlets like this--I thought they were primarily coastal. Thanks for the marine biology lesson.

Edisto Island is very quiet and the only stop light was 25 miles away and each evening we saw Dolphins swimming and feeding only 5 ft from shore where the river joins the ocean. Thanks for sharing your photo and story
