Another shot of the lighthouse. We were leaving and I turned around and caught this view. This is in St. Joseph, Michigan and is on Lake Michigan (one of the great lakes). These lakes are so huge and they really remind me more of the ocean than a lake. =^..^= sandi ♪

They've been great shots of the lighthouse and the really great "Great Lake". The long shadows show that you stayed well into the afternoon. You were obviously having a good time.

A winner Sandi. Really love the shadows playing on the sand and all the texture of the sand also. Amazing colours, scenery & clarity, WOW - truly magnificent capture. This would look really great in a frame and up on the wall.

It is a beautiful scene and well captured Tigz. There seems to be a lot of footprints in the sand attesting to the popularity of the area.

It is like when you leave someone you really like but don't want them to know. You walk and walk and say you won't turn around. But before you get out of sight, you take one last look. That is when they know the have you.

Great post and it shows your love for the water and lighthouse.

Such an interesting take. It bears looking at the larger view to get the perspective. Lovely look back, and I wish all my looks back were so worthy!
