Saturday I was at the Botanical Gardens and found this lovely in bloom. Sorry that I don't know what kind of flower it is but thought I would share it with you.
Most of my shots did not turn out so well as I did not use my tripod! Shame on me!Lol! But I also went to the festival of trees next door and it was too crowded!

I like this. If you're going to take pictures of flowers, then lots of colour is a must, and fancy petals always catch the eye. Yep, you got the lot.
