The Redbellied Woodpecker has a slight orange tint on the very front part of it's chest, which can't be seen in this capture, so I guess that is how they got their name. :)

What a great pose you got since usually woodpeckers are frenetic with activity. I like the editing on this - he really stands out

Can't figure out the red bellied part of it, I say more the red headed kind, but it's a super angle and capture.

Nice textures, details and colours in this capture, Sandi. Try shooting with a faster shutter speed when dealing with the quick movements these birds usually make. It might allow you to get a stronger focus.
