During my visit to the gardens yesterday, finally 3 Monarchs showed up. It seems late in the season, and yet this one looked to be in good shape still. Maybe their late this year because of the crazy weather. I was just thrilled to finally see them.

That is a beauty Sandi. I love the deep orange and beautiful markings. It has a great natural background. Not many are showing up but I have seen some very pretty ones just not when I had my camera with me...so sad.

A good capture of the butterfly, Sandi and composition of the scene. Lovely colours in the image, a little tweaking of the shadows and colour saturation levels would make them stand out in the photo.
