I believe this is a type of Fritillary butterfly. Took this at my favorite garden. I had to aim in among plants, and in a downward angle.

I found on fb from a gardener friend that it's actually a Spotted Beet Webworm Moth, that according to Daves Garden it has been spotted in 3 states, so not sure if it's new to Indiana?

I appreciate your comments, thank you!

You still got good focus on the butterfly. Nice bokeh here too.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The butterfly looks like a conductor leading his orchestra Tigz. I see he has his best buds in the band.
Beautiful work and quite artsy.

I took a shot yesterday of this same plant in a dried form because it was so unique like little snowballs. It's a type of eucalyptus.
This is beautiful.

Nice focus on the moth. We have been battling them from spring till now. You know how they are attracted to the light. They are beauties but really very invasive creatures. This is where I think they should stay...out with the flowers...not in the house. Good art Sandi.

Whether this one is a butterfly or moth, doesn't matter too much to me. The beauty of the image is what counts for me, and it's a beautiful one for sure, Sandi!
