I believe this is a house finch, or possibly a purple finch, and because it looks like it has only one eye,(it had two) :) I thought it a good one for Manic Monday.

We have something like this little bird, we call them Purple Finches. Great photo of the little fellow.

it is a very nice picture, i like the brightness with the red bird in it, but, if you do not mind a critical word, your writing is to close to the center of the picture, kind of disturbing it .... Ro
