I just love watching these little ones. I consider them to be amazing, as each year such a small little creature makes such a long migratory journey.
Posting a little early since I have an appointment in the morning.

Sandi, love your Hummingbird. Such energetic birds. Here is a blast from the past, Hummingbird , by Seals and Crofts.
As you fingered your shutter in preparation of its opening and closing, I can feel you asking the hummingbird to not fly away, just as the song's theme also wished.

Any time you can get a photo of a hummingbird is good. Those beautiful birds are constantly moving. I like how your image allows for cropping it down for even a closer view. Good one, Sandi!

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
A lovely capture of wee sweetie, and I like the use of a pano, complementary of the shape of the feeder and perch. For the past thirty years we have had a mix of grape and trumpet vines covering the south side of my brick home, the trumpet flowers (I have been told) a draw for hummingbirds. In that time I have seen only one hummingbird there, and that single visitor was last year. I envy anyone who regularly gets to see or interact with these gorgeous little birds. Perhaps I need to install a feeder when I finish rebuilding my yard?
