This is just down the path from the lighthouse, and I saw it as a cool photo opt.
Not alot of autumn color, but I don't think it's going to be all that great in my area either.
I still loved the area, gas sure was high! $3.89 a gallon,(only one gas station) when I got back down to the lower part of Michigan, it was $2.99. I found the color to be very spotty in the U.P. but I think I have mentioned there are alot of pines up there.

Sandi, I envy you to a certain extent, because I did some calculations and has figured out that the price of gas in my area is twice as high (€ 2.20 for just one liter (a gallon is 3.785 liters and 1 US Dollar = 0.858 Euro). I realize however that in fact the situation isn't comparable.
Thanks for another fine capture of your trip to the U.P. I love the wideness of this area. Sufficient room to breathe there, 😁 !

Usually a picket fence surrounds a small house and yard. I like the contrast a picket fence looking toward the a wide bay and the limitless sea.

It is as comfortable as a large picture window, giving us a wide-spread image of nature^s beauty, Sandi. As for gas, the lowest I remember ever seeing it, when I was quite young, was $0.19 per gallon, the stating of which makes younger jaws drop and younger eyes pop.
